Team Spirit return with a revamped roster after star offlaner Magomed “Collapse” Khalilov and coach Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov decided to take a break. They’ll face strong contenders such as PARIVISION, Team Liquid, and BetBoom Team. PGL Wallachia Season 9 winners Team Yandex (also the defending BLAST Slam champs), runners-up NAVI, and top four finishers LGD Gaming and Xtreme Gaming look to build on their strong form.

BLAST Slam 8 format
BLAST Slam 8 begins with the Group Stage, which features four GSL groups of four teams each. All group-stage matches are best-of-three (BO3) series, with the first-place team from each group advancing to the Seeding Matches and the second-place team moving to the Last Chance Stage. The remaining teams are eliminated.
The Seeding Matches are also played as BO3 series, with winners advancing directly to the semifinals and losers dropping to the quarterfinals. In the Last Chance Stage, winners advance to the quarterfinals, while losers are eliminated.
The Playoffs use a double-elimination bracket. All playoff matches are BO3 except for the grand final, which is played as a BO5 series.
