While playing Aniimo, you will spend, at least, half your time going around and catching Aniimo in Aniipods. After all, you'll need to capture dozens, if not hundreds, of the same one until you finally have that elusive Perfect form. That being said, throwing Aniipods at Aniimo isn't the only way to get them.
You can hatch Aniimo from Aniimo Eggs using Hatchinators. This is actually a great way to get Aniimo of a specific rarity, and another good way to work on completing your Aniimo collection. We'll tell you everything you need to know about hatching Aniimo from Eggs.
Where To Find Eggs
Eggs are everywhere in Aniimo. Here are all the ways you can get Eggs in Aniimo:
Out in the wild — Simply explore the world, look for nests (preferably high up on mountains and cliffs), and you'll likely find some.
Event rewards — Being a free-to-play game, Aniimo will often have several limited-time events running, and many of these will award you with Eggs (often of specific Aniimo).
Filed Chests — Simply loot them and, among Glimmer and other items, you'll sometimes find Aniimo Eggs.
Egg Heist — A PvPvE mini-game, similar to extraction shooters (unlocks when you reach Level 50), where you and your team try to steal a rare Egg before the other team does. We will cover this in more detail in a different guide.
How To Hatch Eggs
Once you have a few Eggs in your inventory, you can either go to the Outpost or your Homeland and use the Hatchinator. While you'll have to build up to three Hatchinators on your homeland, the Outpost already has a single Hatchinator where you can hatch up to three egss at a time.
Interact with a Hatchinator, and you'll get an option to place an Egg. Select an Egg, place it in the Hatchinator, and wait. Hatching an Egg takes several real-life hours, so go do something else in the game, or simply log out and come back later. The Hatchinator will still work on the eggs even if you exit the game.
You can reduce the hatching time of Aniimo Eggs by 120 minutes by buying a Monthly Pass. It's not necessary, but it's something to consider if you find yourself hatching Eggs all the time.
After enough time has passed, return to the Hatchinator, and it will display a message that one of your Eggs is ready to hatch. Interact with the Egg and pick an Aniipod you wish to use to store your new Aniimo. "Tap" the Egg four times, and enjoy your new Aniimo.
What To Expect From Eggs
Not all Aniimo Eggs are the same. Some will give you an Elite, some a Sparkling, some will give you a very specific Aniimo, and the rarest of them will even give you a Perfect Aniimo. You'll know what you can expect from an Aniimo Egg by simply reading its description, but in most cases you won't know which Aniimo you'll get other than its rarity.
However, even if an Aniimo Egg says you are guaranteed to get an Elite, you can still get lucky and get a Sparkling Elite or even a Perfect Aniimo. Thankfully, you can't have bad luck and get a worse Aniimo than what's written, only a better one, and we're very thankful for that.
Another way you can get better Aniimo from Eggs is by using a special Aniipod, such as an Aniipod Ultra or a Sparkling Cube. This way, even a very regular Aniimo Egg can turn into a Perfect one. For example: you can use an Aniipod Ultra to make sure you get, at least, an Elite Aniimo from an Egg.
Do keep in mind that if an Egg already says it's going to hatch an Elite Aniimo, using an Aniipod that also guarantees an Elite won't improve your chances, and you'll just end up wasting an Aniipod. Only use special Aniipods that guarantee a better Aniimo than what you would otherwise get from the Egg's description.
