Capcom and Timi Studio set a release date for the debut of the mobile game Monster Hunter Outlanders. It will appear everywhere on October 29, 2026. There were two announcement videos from Timi Studio Producer Dong Huang and Capcom Monster Hunter Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto both discussing the launch. Pre-registration is also open via the official site, but there are no bonuses mentioned for doing so.
The Dong Huang video is the one that’s most informative. It again confirmed that Ruger Aidal will be in the game at launch. This is a new Elder Dragon for folks to fight. In his video, he also confirmed the Charge Blade will be in Monster Hunter Outlanders releases. In that segment, Huang suggests it is a “new weapon type,” though we did see a Charge Blade in Monster Hunter 4 and World.
Both the Huang video and the one from Ryozo Tsujimoto confirmed this title will be regularly updated with new monsters, biomes, and weapons. Neither one teased any of the possible post-launch updates.
This comes ahead of updates for Monster Hunter Wilds, the latest mainline console and PC entry. A Switch 2 version of that is due out in December 2026. The Ascendance expansion will appear in 2027.
Monster Hunter Outlanders will be on Android and iOS mobile devices worldwide on October 29, 2026.
