Pokémon Go’s yearly "Harvest Festival" event has kicked off for 2026, running from Sept. 29 until Oct. 5. This year's event features the debut of shiny Applin, so keep your eyes out for any green apples.
You can find apples on the ground by using Mossy Lure Modules on PokéStops. Tapping an apple may yield a literal apple item or an encounter with a Pokémon. This event will also turn into a Team Go Rocket Takeover event starting on Friday, Oct. 2.

Pokémon Go 'Harvest Festival' 2026 event Go Pass
This event features a Go Pass with 30 ranks (plus 30 more bonus ranks). Notably, this pass has the Super Rocket Radar, which you'll need to find Giovanni and catch shadow Zekrom as the rank 30 reward, as well as a rank 1 reward if you choose to pay $4.99 to upgrade to the deluxe pass.
The pass also has a few bonuses that activate once you hit these respective ranks:
Rank 1: Wild Applin have an increased chance of holding Tart Apples, Sweet Apples, or Syrupy Apples
Rank 10: 1-hour Mossy Lure duration
Rank 20: Increased Stardust from defeating Team Go Rocket

Notably, Flapple and Appletun will have Gigantamax versions debuting later, and Dipplin also evolves again into Hydrapple. None of these, at this time, are meta in any type of content, so just pick with your heart.
If you pick Flapple, you'll get Tart Apples. If you pick Appletun, you'll get Sweet Apples. If you pick Dipplin, you'll get Syrupy Apples.
