Skittles is expanding its candy lineup with Gummy Crystals, a new release that combines its soft gummies with crunchy candy crystals.
The new candy marks another expansion beyond the brand's traditional chewy Skittles, this time bringing two different textures together in a single bite. It will initially be available through a limited early access release before reaching stores across the US.
Skittles Gummy Crystals follows several other additions to the brand's growing lineup, which currently includes Skittles Gummies, Gummies Fuego, POP'd, and Littles alongside the original candy.
Skittles Gummy Crystals launch in two varieties
Gummy Crystals feature a soft gummy center covered with tangy, edible candy crystals designed to add a crunch to each piece.
Skittles is launching the candy in Original and Tropical Splash varieties. Original includes Strawberry, Lemon, Grape, Orange, and Green Apple, while Tropical Splash features Fruit Punch, Pink Lemonade, Mango Melon, Pineapple, and Watermelon.

Fans will get their first opportunity to buy Gummy Crystals on November 2, when Skittles launches an exclusive bundle through TikTok Shop while supplies last. The candy will then roll out at select retailers later in 2026, though Skittles has not revealed exactly which stores will carry it during the initial release.
A wider national rollout is planned for 2027, when Gummy Crystals will become the latest addition to Skittles' permanent lineup of candy formats.
Skittles isn't the only major candy brand experimenting with new textures. Reese's recently introduced its first new Reese's Pieces flavor innovation in a decade with Reese's Pieces Cookie Dough, which combines a cookie dough-flavored center with crunchy cookie bits.
The launch expanded Reese's Pieces beyond its traditional peanut butter filling, giving the long-running candy a new texture alongside its new flavor. Skittles Gummy Crystals similarly builds on an established candy by adding a crunchy element to the experience.
