Tobyn Jacobs has seemingly brought the entire game of Minecraft into Elden Ring, complete with its item library, building systems, working redstone, and Creative Mode.
Jacobs, who is known for creating giant paper art and cutouts, revealed the project on X on September 29. “I put the entire of game minecraft into elden ring as mod. its runs on Mac,” the creator wrote.
The project arrives as Elden Ring’s PC modding scene continues to produce increasingly ambitious changes, from quality-of-life tweaks to complete gameplay overhauls.

The accompanying footage shows the Lands Between with a Minecraft-style HUD layered over the game. The player can be seen using Minecraft-inspired weapons and tools, managing an inventory, and fighting Elden Ring enemies while retaining Minecraft’s health, hunger, armor, and experience systems.
Minecraft’s sandbox systems arrive in the Lands Between
According to Jacobs, the project includes all 1,600 Minecraft items, functional redstone, and Creative Mode. Redstone is one of Minecraft’s most important systems, allowing players to build automated machines, traps, doors, farms, and other contraptions.
The project goes far beyond a simple Steve character model or texture swap. Instead, it aims to bring Minecraft’s building and crafting sandbox into Elden Ring’s open world.
The follow-up clip shows Steve battling an Elden Ring enemy with a sword and shield. The Minecraft interface remains active throughout the fight, with the player switching between tools and weapons while facing one of the Lands Between’s giant creatures.

Jacobs’ posts do not currently include a download link or release date. He has not publicly confirmed when, or if, other players will be able to try it.
The creator also claims the mod runs on Mac, despite Elden Ring’s demanding PC requirements. The footage does not show every item or redstone system in action, but the visible combination of Minecraft’s interface, tools, inventory, and building-focused mechanics with Elden Ring’s enemies has already attracted significant attention.
The project joins other ambitious crossover mods, including one that turned Red Dead Redemption 2 into an Elden Ring-inspired adventure with new bosses and spells. If Jacobs’ claims hold up, this Minecraft conversion could be one of the most extensive Elden Ring mods yet.
